UFC 170 Pre-Fight Press Conference and Show: Fans Invited to Events

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has scheduled pre-fight events this week before their UFC 170 event on Saturday, Feb. 22. Fans are invited to participate in the events, which include open workouts, a news conference, and weigh-ins.

The main event and co-main event fighters will go through light workouts on Wednesday, according to MMA Junkie. The workouts will take place on the floor of the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, NV.

The workouts will feature Women's Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey, Sara McMann, Daniel Cormier, and Patrick Cummins, and will be open to the public, according to MMA Junkie. The event will start with McMann's workout at 1 p.m. PT local time, followed by Cormier at 1:30 p.m., Cummins at 2 p.m., and Rousey at 2:30 p.m.

The UFC 170 news conference will take place on Thursday, featuring six fighters from the main card. The fighters include Rousey, McMann, Cormier, Cummins, along with welterweights Roy MacDonald and Demian Mia. The conference begins at 1 p.m. at Mizuya at Mandalay Bay with the doors being open to the public, MMA Junkie reported.

Friday will feature weigh-ins for the pay-per-view event, which fans will be able to live video stream at MMA Junkie. Fans can also get text-only results starting at 7 p.m. ET (4 p.m. PT). Doors to the event open at 3 p.m. PT local time for the public to attend for free.

UFC Fight Club Members have the option to attend a Q&A session before weigh-ins at 2 p.m. PT. The session will feature UFC heavyweight Travis Browne and former Strikeforce champion Luke Rockhold, MMA Junkie reported.

After these events, UFC 170 will begin on Saturday on pay-per-view at 10 p.m. ET (7 p.m. PT). The event will feature Rousey defending her title against McMann in the main event. Cormier will take on Cummins in the co-main event, and McDonald will be fighting Demian Mia. The preliminary fights will be available on FOX Sports, according to MMA Junkie.
