Carrabba's has rolled out a new lunch menu to compete with the popular Italian restaurant Olive Garden.

Olive Garden has long been celebrated for its unlimited soup, salad, and breadsticks deal, available with any adult main dish. Now, aiming to outshine its competitor in the Italian dining scene, Carrabba's has stepped into the ring with its offer.

Carrabba's Launches Endless Lunch Deal

For just $9.99, Carrabba's invites customers to indulge in an endless supply of soup, salad, and bread. The company highlighted this move in a recent press release, positioning itself as a strong contender against Olive Garden.

"Carrabba's Italian Grill wants you to love lunch again... and again," the restaurant said, promising a meal that keeps on giving.

Besides its unlimited lunch offering, the Italian restaurant has introduced a new bistro sandwich combo menu. Available Monday through Friday between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., these new combos start at $13.99 and include a choice of sandwich along with a side.

Expanding its menu, Carrabba's now offers a range of bistro sandwiches. Among the options is the Bruschetta Chicken, featuring grilled chicken topped with roasted tomatoes, burrata cheese, and pesto, all nestled between slices of focaccia bread.

The Caprese sandwich keeps it simple with tomatoes, burrata cheese, pesto, and focaccia bread. For meat lovers, the Steak Marsala combines sirloin and mozzarella cheese smothered in Lombardo Marsala Sauce and mushrooms on focaccia bread.

The Chicken Parmesan is hearty with Mama Mandola's breadcrumbs, pomodoro sauce, parmesan, and mozzarella cheeses on focaccia bread. Lastly, the Meatball Sandwich is a classic, with meatballs, pomodoro sauce, mozzarella cheese, romano, and a touch of garlic butter on focaccia bread.

These additions cater to various tastes, inviting diners to explore more of what Carrabba's offers.

He highlighted that these sandwiches blend Carrabba's beloved authentic flavors with the convenience that busy lives demand, promising a fulfilling meal that fits into a tight schedule.

Carrabba's, known for its rich heritage of Italian cuisine derived from the founders' family recipes, encourages customers to "Come together at Carrabba's" with loved ones. It positions itself as a hub for creating memorable connections over shared meals.

According to comments made by Deno during the fourth-quarter earnings call, Carrabba's Italian Grill has surpassed expectations. He noted that the restaurant's performance was strong, and its catering business continues to grow significantly. In the third quarter, off-premise dining and catering sales accounted for more than 30% of the chain's total revenue.

Among all of Bloomin' Brands' restaurant chains in the United States, Carrabba's had the highest comparable sales last year. The Italian eatery saw a 3.9% increase in same-store sales over the year, outpacing the 3.4% increase in 2022.

Carrabba's was the only one among its peers to report positive customer traffic growth. While traffic grew by 0.3% last year, it significantly improved over a 4.3% decline in 2022.
