"Jane The Virgin" season 2 will be starting off with the search for Jane and Rafael's baby, Mateo. Sin Rostro kidnapped the newborn as a shocking cliffhanger in season one.
However, fans don't have to fear about the baby being gone for the whole season. Headwriter Jennie Snyder Urman promised avid followers that Jane and Rafael will definitely get Mateo back right away in "Jane the Virgin" season 2.
Although the main focus for this Fall would be Jane's transition into motherhood, other factors will play into the story as well such as her parents' accidental Las Vegas wedding. Another big part of the story would also be Sin Rostro's return.
Fans finally found out who the criminal mastermind was last season but thanks to her new underground plastic surgery business, she now has a new face.
Her lover, Luisa, is also back in the picture. We know from season one that Rose contacted her just after their father's funeral which prompted her to suddenly leave the hotel. She seemed to have followed Rose's request for them to get back together.
In later episodes, however, she comes back with new (wrestler) girlfriend, claiming that she's gotten over Rose with help from her ashram in Peru.
According to Bustle, Luisa's explanation doesn't add up.
"Both Luisa and Rose were MIA for a significant portion of Jane the Virgin's second half of Season 1, but Rafael's sister came back to help with the Marbella towards the end and Sin Rostro turned up in the final moments of the season finale, so it's safe to say they'll be around in Season 2," the report stated.
It's also a little convenient for Sin Rostro to suddenly come back around the same time Luisa arrived to help Rafael out with the Marbela.
If they did get back together, does this mean that Luisa has become Sin Rostro's sidekick? Will she become one of the bad guys in "Jane The Virgin" season 2?
