Tom Hiddleston's "Crimson Peak" may not be screened at any film festivals this Fall but that did not quell the British actor's excitement for his new gothic horror film.

As he delved into September, the "Thor" star reminded his 2.34 followers on Twitter that Autumn will be bringing a certain "chill." What better way to greet the cold season that to watch horror films.

"Felt a chill in the air this morning. Autumn's on its way. Almost time. #CrimsonPeak," the "I Saw The Light" star posted on the microblogging site, along with character posters of his co-stars.

The said promotional materials depict Mia Wasikowska, Jessica Chastain, Charlie Hunnam, as well as himself in individual posters, washed out in eerie shades of blue and red.

He also tagged Chastain, who plays his sister in the film, in the post.

This isn't the first time Tom Hiddleston got excited for "Crimson Peak" in social media either. He previously assured his followers that the film would be out soon.

A month ago, he posted the international poster for the film on Twitter and he couldn't help but show his excitement about it in the caption.

He told his fans, "Can't wait to show it you all finally. Not long now."

Last July, Tom Hiddleston called "Crimson Peak" "the cuddle movie" while the "A Most Violent Year" star insisted that it would be "the perfect date movie."

"It's romantic and scary, so it's the perfect date movie," Chastain previously told Yahoo News. "Because you go with your love or your wannabe love, and then right when it's getting romantic, you kind of cuddle, and then when it's scary, you cuddle more."

"They could put that on the poster! 'Crimson Peak: The Cuddle Movie'," the "High-Rise" actor seconded his co-star.

Fans won't have to wait that much longer indeed. "Crimson Peak" will be premiering on Oct. 16.
