Sep 22, 2015 11:58 AM EDT | By Jason Fonbuena

The "Doctor Who" season 9 premiere may have already debuted last week but it's never too late to watch the live stream here or here.

Before the season 9 proper began, a prequel titled "The Doctor's Meditation" premiered on American theaters on Sept. 14 and 15. However, this was leaked online but has since been removed by the BBC, according to Doctor Who Watch.

The prequel was officially released for UK audiences but a region-free version was uploaded on DailyMotion which you can watch here.

Whovians should also be aware of the season 9 prologue the BBC posted on YouTube earlier. The two-minute prologue basically sets the tone for "The Doctor's Meditation" which is set right after it.

But what should you expect for the "Doctor Who" season 9 premiere itself? Episode 1's official synopsis is already up at the BBC America website which you can read below.

"Where is the Doctor? When the skies of Earth are frozen by a mysterious force, Clara needs her friend. But where is the Doctor, and what is he hiding from? As past deeds come back to haunt him, old enemies will come face-to-face, and for the Doctor and Clara survival seems impossible."

Peter Capaldi also teased earlier this year that the Doctor will "make a mistake that has cataclysmic repercussions," as Franchise Herald reported.

Depending on where you live, the "Doctor Who" season 9 premiere live stream can be seen here or here.

Keep in mind that there will be plenty of ads while you watch the episode but as long as you don't download anything and close ads by clicking on the "X" button, you should get through without much hassle. Multiple ads may pop up during the live stream but clear them out and keep on watching.
