A bar patron was asked to vacate Seattle's Lost Lake Cafe and Lounge Tuesday for reportedly refusing to take off his Google Glass connected eyewear NBC News reported Tuesday.

"We recently had to ask a rude customer to leave because of their insistence on wearing and operating Google Glasses inside the restaurant," the restaurant said in a post on its Facebook page. "So for the record, here's Our Official Policy on Google Glass: "We kindly ask our customers to refrain from wearing and operating Google Glasses inside Lost Lake. We also ask that you not videotape anyone using any other sort of technology. If you do wear your Google Glasses inside, or film or photograph people without their permission, you will be asked to stop, or leave. "Laws regarding the use of new technology are lagging, so we need to make rules now."

User Nick Starr, confirmed with a manger that a ban on the device had indeed been instituted.

"We're not anti-Glass, they are useful in all sorts of ways," Meinert said in a post. We just think there should be some rules about them. Sorry for the hassle. Please respect others."

The news is the second instance where the device has caused trouble. Cecilia Abadie, a California Woman  who Fox News describes as a self-described geek and Google Glass pioneer, was wearing the new connected eyewear when she was pulled over in what is a first for the new connected eyewear device.

According to Fox News, the rule found in section 27602 of the California regulations says "a person shall not drive a motor vehicle if a television receiver, a video monitor, or a television or video screen ... is visible to the driver while driving the motor vehicle."

The internet company has made several other changes to its latest device. This includes the replacement of a new head-mounted camera based on customer critiques about how the product can be improved and the ability for user to send requests to three friends.

Introduction into optometry offices is also a possibility. This would be done through VSP or Vision Service Plans which gives Google employees health care benefits for their eyes.

Google has also added music capabilities. The new feature allows users to look for songs, review playlists, and hear music files in good quality sound with the device on their head.

Google will also be launching its own headphones specifically made for the connected eyewear at $85 before December. The news is also the company's latest development for the product since it announced it is constantly working to improve it for consumers.
