Krispy Kreme announces a special holiday donuts line to celebrate its anniversary, featuring limited edition "Elf" donuts in honor of the classic movie's 20th anniversary.
These holiday-themed treats will be available at Krispy Kreme starting Friday, November 24, including "The Buddy Snow Globe Donut," "The Buddy Makes Breakfast Donut," and "The Christmas Lights Donut."
Krispy Kreme says all donuts will be sold in special dozen donut boxes with an "Elf" theme.
Krispy Kreme Anniversary Holiday Donuts: Made with Glazed Donuts
The Buddy Snow Globe donut is a unique glazed donut made by Krispy Kreme. The company says it's covered in light blue sugar cookie frosting and white sprinkles, and on top is powered sugary snow and a chocolate "Elf" for extra decoration.
Also, the Buddy Makes Breakfast donut is a real Krispy Kreme glazed donut. There is cake batter, spaghetti frosting, milk chocolate candies, sprinkles, and maple drizzle on top of it.
Another exciting treat for the holiday is the doughnut with a Santa belly filled with Cookies & Kreme and dipped in red icing. It is decorated with a candy piece of Santa's belt and buckle.
Furthermore, the new Krispy Kreme Christmas Lights donut is based on a glazed donut they already make. The company says it has rich chocolate icing dipped in it, green icing poured over it, rainbow sprinkles, and a Christmas "Elf" piece on top of it.

Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the classic holiday film "Elf"'
Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products are collaborating to introduce the Elf Doughnut Collection to the public.
According to Dave Skena, Global Chief Brand Officer for Krispy Kreme, the new doughnuts are based on memorable scenes from the movie "Elf." They are also meant to capture the movie's fun and festive mood.
"Smiling is our "favorite" too, Buddy the Elf. Our 'Elf Holiday Collection will make our fans very happy as they bring holiday cheer to their family and friends all season, Skena added.
Lovers of Krispy Kreme and "Elf" can get a special six-pack that includes the Buddy Snow Globe Doughnut, the Festive Lights Doughnut, and the Santa Belly Doughnut. This pack is delivered fresh every day to some grocery shops.
The variety is sold at Walmart, Kroger, Food Lion, Publix, Stater Brothers, Wakefern, and other stores.
As if that wasn't enough holiday cheer, Krispy Kreme also serves holiday-themed drinks like a fresh Ghirardelli chocolate and a Sugar Cookie Latte that can be served hot, iced, or frozen.
