A recent inspection report has revealed disturbing findings at a Robinson Town Centre restaurant. Live roaches were discovered in various locations, including next to a sink, on a dish rack, on the wall, inside the dish machine's pump, and within a broken ice machine.

Additionally, the report noted the presence of dead roaches in a bulk rice storage container and on the restaurant floor.

Also, the inspector reported a concerning incident of condensate leakage onto uncovered food within the walk-in cooler. Additionally, the restaurant faced violations related to cleaning and sanitization practices, with the inspector observing that the dish machine failed to sanitize, as no chlorine was detected during the inspection.

During an inspection, significant sanitation problems were identified at the restaurant. The inspector reported that the dishwasher was not effectively sanitizing dishes. Soiled vegetable peelers and knives were stored on a particle board shelf, and cooking utensils were kept in stagnant, unclean water.

Live and deceased roaches were detected in more than ten different areas within the establishment.

The Health Department's website will undergo necessary updates upon removing the consumer alert.

The Food Safety Program under the Allegheny County Health Department closely oversees and regulates approximately 8,500 permanent food establishments throughout the county. These establishments include restaurants, food trucks, school cafeterias, and food processing facilities.

All food-related businesses must obtain and maintain a health permit while adhering to Allegheny County's stringent food safety regulations.

The health department actively conducts inspections and diligently investigates consumer complaints. Individuals who encounter concerns during their dining experiences can submit their complaints online for prompt attention and resolution.

Despite these concerning findings, it is worth noting that the restaurant continues to operate even as the consumer alert remains in effect.
