McDonald's is set to open two new branches of its popular spin-off, CosMc's, next month. The first CosMc restaurant was a big hit, so people should be ready for long lines when the new ones open.
CosMc's Expands in Texas with Two New Locations
McDonald's has planned to open its second and third CosMc's restaurants, choosing Texas as the spot. These new locations will be in the Houston area.
The chain's next opening is April 2 in Watauga, followed closely by another in Arlington on April 8.
CosMc's is McDonald's latest venture, focusing mainly on drinks.
It brings back memories with its theme, inspired by the company's space character from the 80s.
The first opened last year in Bolingbrook, Illinois, and the second was recently in Dallas, Texas, in March.
Customers queued up at a brightly colored place, with walls painted in blue and yellow, eager to taste unique drinks. They sampled everything from specialty teas and cold coffee to more adventurous options like sour cherry energy slush, tropical spiced, and s'mores cold brew.
People smiled and took photos with their beverages while DJ SheReal set the mood with music.
The staff's uniforms featured space-themed designs, and the restaurant boasted modern, futuristic kiosks for easy ordering. These kiosks come equipped with cashless payment options, making the process smoother before customers pick up their orders at the counter.
The establishment also offers a drive-thru service for those on the go, ensuring everyone gets a taste of their innovative menu quickly.
CosMc's is expanding in Texas with two new restaurants. The first opening in Watauga is set for April 2, followed by a new spot in Arlington opening on April 8, coinciding with a rare solar eclipse.
This celestial event, a total solar eclipse in which the Sun, Moon, and Earth align perfectly, will not happen again for another 20 years.

CosMc's Unveils Menu with Unique Eats and Drinks

CosMc's is rolling out an exciting menu that includes a variety of lemonades, teas, blended drinks, and cold coffees. Favorites like Sour Cherry Energy Burst, Churro Cold Brew Frappe, Island Pick-Me-Up Punch, and McPops stand out. Customers can add their twist with options like boba, different syrups, energy boosts, or vitamin C.
For those feeling peckish, there's plenty to try. The Spicy Queso Sandwich, Savory Hash Brown Bites, and Pretzel Bites have tasty dipping sauces. Sweets aren't forgotten, with options like a Blueberry Lemon Cookie Sundae and Caramel Fudge Brownies available. Classic McDonald's breakfast items such as the Egg McMuffin and Bacon McMuffin with Egg also appear.
Excitingly, CosMc's is introducing two new "otherworldly" dishes: the Beach Protein Frappe, which blends banana flavors with a protein kick, and the Melon Herb Chiller, a refreshing mix of watermelon, mint, and lemonade with a cool twist.
Since the first CosMc's opened in December 2023 in Bolingbrook, Illinois-where some fans waited up to six hours-the brand plans to expand. With two locations now and two more on the way, six additional sites are in the works, including one near San Antonio.
The inspiration behind CosMc's comes from the alien character CosMc, who visited Earth craving McDonald's delights to take back to his planet.
