Shoppers and stores are gearing up for the biggest sale this year. With the growing demand of shoppers needing to get their hands on the best deals possible, shopping centers have been making their Black Friday store hours earlier in the recent years.
On the other hand, Staples recently announced that they won't be opening their stores on Thanksgiving, allowing their employees and their customers "to spend the holiday with loved ones." They will, however, be open the day after at 6 a.m.
"We want our customers and associates to enjoy Thanksgiving their own way," Demos Parneros, Staples' North American stores and online president said in a press release. "On Thanksgiving Day, customers can shop from home on Staples.com and then continue their shopping in stores starting at 6 a.m. on Black Friday."
The statement continued, "Whether our customers like the convenience of shopping online, in our stores or a combination of both, Staples will have amazing products at great prices throughout the holiday season."
Meanwhile, other stores have not released their official Black Friday store hours as of press time. Rumors have surfaced, however, that Walmart and Best Buy will be opening at 6 p.m. on Nov. 28.
Toys R Us, Target, JCPenny, Kohl's, Sears, Old Navy, and HH Greg are also opening their doors to shoppers on the said date.
