[WATCH] Juliette Is Definitely Dead In New ‘Grimm’ Season 5 Trailer! Is Nick Getting Fired?

| By

Viewers were still in denial about Juliette's (Bitsie Tulloch) death the new "Grimm" season 5 trailer proved that she, indeed, isn't coming back to the NBC show.

In last season's finale, Nick (David Giuntoli) not only lost his mother to the royals, he also had to watch the love of his life die in his arms. Trubel (Jacqueline Toboni) reportedly had no choice but to shoot the recently-turned Hexenbiest with a crossbow after she threatened to kill Nick with her newfound Wesen powers.

Fans who were still hoping for Nick's girlfriend to be saved will be in for a sad premiere. The latest trailer shows Juliette in a casket, looking very much dead.

Producers have repeated time and time again that it was really time for the red-head's to die as a natural progression of her character's transformation into a Wesen. However, Tulloch will reportedly be coming back to the show, but only in flashbacks.

In a previously released "Grimm" season 5 trailer, Nick told Hank (Russell Hornby) that he got knocked out after Juliette died and woke up with no (dead) girlfriend and no Trubel.

Driven by grief, Nick will seek revenge and he figured talking to Agent Chavez would help him make sense of what happened. Unfortunately, his passionate need for vengeance won't sit well with the people around him, even with Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz).

Enstarz reports that the Wesen hunter will be suspended from being a detective, leaving Hank with "a new partner."

This will give the enraged Grimm more time to investigate the double murder of his mother and girlfriend. Whether he'll get his answers is yet to be determined.

On the other hand, he would also have more time to take care of his newborn son with Adalind (Claire Coffee).

Based on the sneak peek photos released by NBC, it looks like his mortal-enemy-turned-baby-mama will be giving birth to their son in the very first episode.
