Man Fired over Twix Bar
Robert McKevitt, a 27 year-old veteran of Spirit Lake, IA, was fired by Polaris Industries in Milford, IA for using a forklift to retrieve a Twix candy bar from a vending machine. McKevitt said the incident occurred after his second shift at the company’s warehouse.

GM Faces Lawsuit Due to Recall Delay
Court statements have revealed General Motors had prior knowledge of ignition problems that the company’s vehicles have been experiencing since 2004. GM has issued a recall of about 780,000 Chevrolet Cobalts and Pontiac G5s after engine shutdowns and six crash deaths occurred due to malfunctioning ignition switches.
Milk Price Increases
The price of milk is expected to rise by as much as 60 cents in March as a result of issues with supply and demand. Because of a short supply of cheese, the cost of a block rose from $1.80 to $2.36, which is leading to a price increase in “fluid milk."

eBay Acquires PhiSix
eBay announced it has acquired PhiSix, a company which creates 3D models for clothing through simulations and visualizations. The graphics in the models is capable of simulating the behavior of the clothes.
