Gap, Inc. announced Wednesday it will be raising its hourly minimum wage to $10. The change will affect 65,000 U.S. employees of the San Francisco-based company.

Residents of the west end of Lousville, KY gathered on Monday, Feb. 17 with the desire to have Walmart open a store in their community. The Louisville residents stated they want there to be a Walmart in their town in order to provide jobs and reasonable prices.

35,000 AT&T Customers Spied on by United States Government
AT&T said Tuesday that it received demands from government officials to turn over customer data. The company made the announcement in their first-ever transparency report. AT&T said the U.S. government requested access to content belonging to over 35,000 AT&T users for the first six months of 2013.

Band Features Robot Guitarist that Can Play Faster than Humans
A three-piece band of Japanese robots called Z-Machines performed an album soon to be released by UK record label Warp Records. Z-Machines’ guitarist has 78 fingers, giving the band members the chance to play music in a way never done before by humans. The drummer has 22 arms.
Google and Apple Crack Down on Flappy Bird Clones
Google and Apple have started to remove apps for video games containing the word “flappy” after a number of clones of the original game, Flappy Bird, began appearing in app stores. Doug Nguyen, the creator of the game’s app, removed Flappy Bird from app stores in on Feb. 9, which was followed by a large amount of games attempting to capitalize on the game’s success.
HTC KitKat Update List: Android 4.4 Coming Soon
HTC Corp. announced on Friday, Feb. 14 the update to HTC One with the Android 4.4 KitKat. The update was announced after U.S. carriers have been experiencing delays with their HTC One updates.
Chipotle New Web Series Debuts on Hulu and Hulu Plus
Chipotle Mexican Grill launched the first episode of its original comedy series, Farmed and Dangerous on Feb. 17 on Hulu and Hulu Plus. The series contains four episodes and stars Ray Wise (Twin Peaks) and Eric Pierpoint (Parks and Recreation).
