D.C. Votes to Decriminalize Marijuana
The District of Columbia City Council voted on Tuesday in favor of decriminalizing possession of small amounts of marijuana for personal use. Mayor Vincent Gray is expected to sign the bill into law.

Over 320,000 PS4s Sold in Japan
Sony’s PlayStation 4 has sold 322,083 consoles in two days in Japan after being released on Feb. 22. The console surpassed its predecessor, the PlayStation 3, which sold 88,443 consoles in the same amount of time in 2006.

Olive Garden has presented a new logo and changes to their menu as its way of winning back old customers while gaining new ones. Darden executives expressed their excitement for the move, saying the logo is “the symbol for our brand renaissance.”

Disney Cuts Funding for Boy Scouts due to Ban on Gays
The Walt Disney Company has announced it will stop providing grant money to the Boy Scouts of America in 2015 due to a BSA membership policy that bans gay leaders. While Disney does not give money to the BSA or local councils, the BSA has acquired funds through Disney’s VoluntEARS program.
Google Maps to Showcase Polar Bears
Google Street View will be traveling to Churchill, Man. to capture footage of polar bears in celebration of International Polar Bear Day. Starting Thursday, Google Maps will be recording videos and images of the tundra with the goal of showcasing the area’s environment and the importance of keeping it safe.
