It is just days since America's Next Top Model Cycle 21 aired its final but it is not the one that is making the louder noise. It is a contestant from Cycle 17. E! Online reported that Angelea Preston, winner of Cycle 17, is suing the show's host Tyra Banks for $3 million after being denied of the top prize in connection to her previous work as an escort.

According to E! Online, the lawsuit, which was filed at the Los Angeles Supreme Court, "alleges that Preston won the reality competition and was named America's Next Top Model during cycle 17 of the show in 2011, and is therefore entitled to the grand prize, which includes a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl cosmetics as well as a spread in high-fashion mag Vogue Italia. "

She also sued CW Network for acting as defendant.

Preston claims he was deprived of her winnings in America's Next Top Model Cycle 17 because she worked as an escort before joining. However, she insists that there were no violations because her escorting gig happened before she joined the show.

Because of her disqualification, the prize went to Lisa D'Amato who first competed in the fifth cylce of America's Next Top Model.

Aside from her unfair disqualification, the America's Next Top Model winner also claims that she and other contestants were maltreated while the season was going on.

In a statement to the Wrap, CW Network, which has been airing America's Next Top Model for 15 years now, said they are confident Angelea Preston's case has no merit.

"As noted during the broadcast of the 'America's Next Top Model' finale in 2011, information about Angelea was learned after production wrapped on that cycle that led to her disqualification from the competition. We are confident that her lawsuit has no merit."
