"Godzilla" PS3 and PS4 release date is finally coming in July for North American and European gamers.

Rumors and speculations about the upcoming gaming title was finally confirmed by Bandai Namco during the recently concluded 2014 Game Awards.

"Mothra has been thorn in Godzilla's side since 1964. Take care of it this summer. Preorder now for PlayStation systems," the giant gaming studio teased via Facebook.

Meanwhile, Rocket News 24 reported that "Godzilla" PS4 game is going to be available in retail, while the PS3 version will be released via PlayStation Network.

Gamers are reportedly in for a whole new gaming experience by having to choose between using either the classic Japanese TOHO and U.S. versions of Godzilla

And while the "Godzilla" game for PS3 and PS4 is already widely available in Japan, the decision to bring it to North America and Europe was reportedly due to the box office success of Gareth Edward's movie adaptation, which was released on May 2014.

Game Rant repored that the "Godzilla" PS3 and PS4 game, which will be released in July, will be designed to fit the "Western Godzilla Gamers" and the main feature would be Godzilla's battle between the older Japanese version and the modern one.

"Bash your way through over 20 stages of mayhem," said in the statement.

"Collect G-Energy in each stage to Power-Up your Godzilla up to 100 Meters tall! Your offensive and defensive prowess will increase with your size."

Bandai Namco is confident that "Godzilla" PS3 and PS4 is going to be an epic battle between the Kaijus.

"The game will also allow players to utilize a dynamic Movie-Style Camera Angle System, delivering the most epic camera angles from which to destroy both a multitude of locations as well as classic enemies such as Mothra, King Ghidorah, and Mechagodzilla.'

Mission, Diorama and King of Monsters modes will be available.
