Will "God of War 4" release date for PS4 finally be announced at E3 2015?

Following Sony's confirmation that "GOW 3" remastered version is going to be released in July, speculations soon arise that the games launch would most likely coincide.

The highly anticipated convention happening on June 16-18 is expected to pave way for Sony Santa Monica Studios' annoucement.

While there hasn't been any clear indication about the "God of War 4" release date and it's connection to "GOW 3" remastered version, IGN speculated that the gaming title is most likely going to be released in either 2017 or 2018.

Sony who remains mum about the new game has promised fans that it will feature an all-new improved graphics once released to PS4 consoles.

Barlog claimed that while the studio is having troubles working on "God of War 4," it's working hard on bringing the series to the "next generation" consoles.

rCreating an original game is really hard," he said. "It takes a combination of creativity, tenacity, guts, skill, and let's be honest here, no small amount of total lunacy to imagine and see to the finish an entirely new world."

"So making an original game that is successful, well that is just lightning in a bottle, my friends. I believe that David Jaffe did just that when he created and directed the first God of War game."

And while fans are still waiting for a "God of War 4" release date, Sony will bring a remastered version first for PS4 console users.

"Remasters often help us open the door to new players who perhaps did not play 'God of War 3' five years ago, but who we can bring it to on the PlayStation 4," he said. "People often forget, the more players we can bring into a franchise, the better for everyone. At Santa Monica Studio, we'd like as many PlayStation fans to experience our games as possible, form generation to generation."

"God of War 3" remastered reportedly features a 1080p HD resolution that includes all DLC character costumes and contents from previous versions. It also boasts a Photo Mode feature with groundbreaking depth of scale and a realistic muscle striations with detailed facia expressions and a new heightened level of brutality and gore for the gamers to enjoy.
