According to Andy Street, the country is suffering as if nobody cares. The company is planning to launch the site using French as default language.

The managing official of John Lewis has noted that the country France is stubborn, sluggish and hopeless. He then gave his unsolicited advice to British businessmen not to put up their investment in the country or if these entrepreneurs have been doing their business, they should pull it out as soon as possible.

Andy Street even comment that the country is over. "I didn't have any chance to go in a country that is sicker than this. Nobody seems to care and nothing is working for them," he added.

The statement was released in Times during the special function held in London which marked the final stint of John Lewis race for pilot firms. In the early part of the week, Street was seen in Paris to accept an award under his organization.

He said to the group of businessmen that the award was composed of plastic and he felt that it was quite offensive.

"If I asked for more evidence of what I'm talking about the country, then here is the perfect example. Every time I look at it, I thought of saying, Lord please help the country," he confessed.

Andy told the crowd, "if you have put up investments in the country, you should pull them out as soon as possible." The country's second biggest economy has been coping for higher growth and France is failing to come up with a budget that goes with EU's projected deficit up to 2017. The country's economy has been hindered by the poor growth and low tax returns in the current years.

Andy is not the first executive to make such comment about France. Last year 2000 the chief official of Vodafone had some issues with the country.
