Pie Five Pizza Offers Minty Holiday Treat

Chocolate can perfectly be paired with chocolate. How about Andes mints paired with chocolate?

Pie Five Pizza launched the new Andes Mint Brownie in time for holidays. The treat combines a rich chocolate brownie batter and dark chocolate cups in a pizza fan and tops it off with chunks of Andes mint.

Pie Five Restaurant assures that every pie is hand-mixed and freshly baked daily. A glass of milk paired with the chocolaty treat can tempt Santa to come back on Christmas Eve.

Pie Five’s vice president of marketing, Christina Coy, said, “I don’t know anybody who doesn’t love Andes mints, or anyone who could eat just one. Thankfully, Pie Five never skimps on the toppings, even with our desserts.”

For a price of $9.99, the Andes Mint Brownie dessert can be shared with family and friends, but it will only be available until Jan. 4, Sunday, at Pie Five restaurants nationwide.

Guests can enjoy their Pie Five experience as they can choose from wide array combinations of hand-made personal pizza along with different specialty pie. There are also hand-made salads and desserts that are freshly prepared every day and even a meal that is ready even in less than five minutes. The fast-growing chain is focusing on the consumers' demand for great dining experience and artisan pizza without waiting.

“It’s the perfect pairing with one of our artisan, handcrafted pizzas this holiday season,” said Coy.

The Pie Five Pizza has been named as Fast Casual’s 2014 Top 15 “Movers & Shakers”. They are also Nation’s Restaurant News 2012 Hot Concepts winner and one of the “10 Hot New Restaurant Chains from Established Brands” by Forbes.com.

With 27 locations in almost nine states, the company announced that there will be 200 franchise units that are under contract in 14 states and in Washington, DC.
