Google's lone sale of its connected eyewear Glass device could last a second or more. The San Jose Mercury News reported Tuesday. "The sale may go longer than a day; we just have to see how well everything works and how well we handle the demand." The San Jose Mercury News reported

The response to the company's sale reportedly has been high according to a post on the Google's blog.

"Wow, what a morning! We're happy to see so many new faces (and frames) in the Explorer community. Just a quick update that -- ack -- we just sold out of Cotton, (a color of Google Glass) so things are moving really fast," the post said according to The Mercury News.

Google Glass already has many features such as game playing, and listening to music.

Users can play tennis, a balance game which tests their ability to keep books on their head, clay shooter similar to the infamous duck hunt game, Match which evaluates how well one pairs patches with similar patterns, and Shape Splitter where shapes are broken up information on the blog read.

Google Glass music capabilities allows users to look for songs, review playlists, and hear music files in good quality sound with the device on their head.

Google users can also send friend requests to three of their close acquaintances, and listen to music.

In addition, the company announced that the Android Kitkat operating system is coming to the device towards the end of the week PC Magazine reported.

The operating system will give consumers more power for their battery, and one they can depend on all for $1,500 in a promotion that has openings available in Google's Glass Explorer program until the close of business Tuesday PC Magazine reported. The new system is a change from Android's 4.0.3 program.
