People who uses internet should know that large technology corporations like Google know their personal information and keep a record. When you use Google, then you have to go through an agreement with Google.

You have to give some personal information to Google when you get free services like Gmail, Google search, YouTube and Google maps. Google sell this personal information to advertisers which you provided.

The more Google knows about you, the more profits they achieve. The more they know about you, the more perfectly they could present you to the advertisers. Advertisers are always ready to pay more money for such ideal buyers. Advertisers wants to know more and more information of Google users. For an example, Airlines-related advertisers wants to know more information about those who travels frequently. Similarly child clothing Advertisers wants more data about child's parents and the couple's.

To know about you, Google applies different type of methods. When you sign up in Gmail, Google Maps or Google's various services from your Android phone that time you give away a lot of information to Google. This information are like your name, phone number, location etc. In addition, Google get data from your Internet search or the way you search for information.

To know how much Google knows about you, you can go to Google's 'Ads Settings' site. Ads settings is not very easy to find out. You can go to this link www.google.com/settings or paste this on your browser. Then click on 'Account history'. If you scroll to the bottom you can see an 'Ads'. By clicking 'Edit settings' you can find the activities of Google. Google's this page will show you how much information they have about you.

You can edit the information from this site or by clicking 'Opt Out' you can give access to Google to use your information.
