"Jane The Virgin" season 1 may be a light, romantic drama but there are several mysteries woven into the story to make it a bit more dangerous and excitement.
With Jane (Gina Rodriguez) and Rafael (Justin Baldoni) relationship being somewhat established last episode, will viewers finally be able to focus on who the mysterious Sin Rostro is?
"There's some pretty intense detective stuff going on," Brett Dier, who plays Jane's jilted fiancé Michael, teased fans via TVLine. "It's pretty insane. I can't give away much, but they go pretty intense into that investigation and some crazy things happen."
Apparently, the criminal mastermind that Michael and his team have been investigating will be unveiled soon and it's going to be shocking. Even the cast were surprised when they finally found out during the script reading.
"I couldn't believe it," Dier added. "I didn't see it coming. You never really can in this show. I'm excited for people to see it."
Jaime Camil, who plays Jane's father, Rogelio, also shared that fans are "going to be super surprised" about the big identity reveal.
"[At the table read], we were like, 'What?! Oh my God, holy sh-," he revealed.
TVLine also reported that Sin Rostro will be someone who is already familiar to the viewers. Nevertheless, his familiarity will reportedly not stop his storyline from becoming a huge twist in the drama.
According to their "Jane The Virgin" season 1 spoilers, Sin Rostro will be revealed in episode 13.
In the meantime, viewers will have to watch episode 9 first. This Monday, Jane and Rafael will be reunited after the latter was sent to Mexico by his father. From the last episode, it looks like Petra had something to do with his sudden reassignment. Does the Solano family have something to do with Sin Rostro?
Rafael's business in Mexico is still a mystery but according to the episode 9 trailer, Jane will have an even bigger problem to deal with. She will finally be telling her new boyfriend (who was a former player) the three words that would make or break their budding relationship
How will Rafael react when Jane tells him, "I'm a virgin?" Will the ex playboy still want to be with her?
