‘American Horror Story: Hotel’: Sarah Paulson As The Big Bad This Time? Max Greenfield Will ‘Not [Be] Checking Out’!

"American Horror Story: Hotel" has started production and it looks like fans are in for some surprises.

Show creator Ryan Murphy has been dropping a lot of hints about the show's plot in his Twitter page, including a possible new big bad villain in season five.

Rumors that she would be playing rocker Janis Joplin surfaced in April but the "American Horror Story" veteran denied this during her interview with TheWrap. What she can share, however, is her excitement to play an entirely new character for "American Horror Story: Hotel".

Murphy previously tagged Paulson's character as "the baddest bad girl of them all". Could she take a chance into becoming the villain this time?

"I've never played any villain on the show, so perhaps there's going to be an element on bad, bad girl," the 40-year-old actress shared.

Paulson had been playing relatively "good" characters in her past appearances in Ryan Murphy's horror series. This time, fans will get to see a new side of her. She might just be the one tormenting people instead of the other way around.

Aside from being a "bad girl" in the new season, Paulson has another goal in mind for the FX show's new season - to become really close to co-star Lady Gaga.

"I will not have succeeded in this season if I do not have a way of contacting her directly, like a cell phone number, by the end of the season," she shared, adding that it would be embarrassing on her part if they don't become "really tight, close friends."

Meanwhile, another TV star has joined the new season. Murphy himself welcomed "New Girl" actor Max Greenfield through Twitter.

"This October, Max Greenfield (like you've never seen him) is checking in to the hotel....but not checking out. #AHSHotel," the showrunner posted a couple of weeks ago.

Do you think Sarah Paulson can pull off being the big bad in "American Horror Story: Hotel"?
