Apple has released its iTunes 11.1 Radio App for Americans.

Account holders in the United States are the only users who can download the new iTunes Radio feature for the company's latest version of its music software program. The app is also available on the company's iOS 7 devices and desktop computers according to Digital Trends.

According to An Apple press release, a user's music, movies and other files stored on their iTunes can now be downloaded to devices with iOS 7.

"You can now use iTunes to sync your favorite music, movies, and more to devices with iOS 7," the release read. "In addition, iTunes now makes it even easier to quickly organize and sync apps to your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch."

According to appadvice.com, a job advertisement on Apple's website asks for people who are knowledgeable about: "Alternative [and] Rock Latino, Brazilian, Pop Latino, Regional Mexicano, Salsa and Tropical, Latin Jazz, and Latin Urban music."

"iTunes Radio is going to deliver music that will meet the enjoyment and needs of our customers," the ad said according to Digital Trends. "Playing the right songs, and coming up with the right themes is going to be a big part of the music programmer's daily responsibility. There will be many instances to put a station together quickly with amazing quality."

When streaming, the new radio app only skips six times per hour, and models itself off popular music service Pandora.

While the two programs may be similar, iTunes Radio is not indeed the same as Pandora in that it uses algorithms and user feedback to create its stations, while Apple is seeking individuals with expert knowledge in a variety of genres.

Subscribers of iTunes Match do not have any advertisements in their version of iTunes Radio. Tracks also don't skip.
