Can't decide what horror movies to watch on Netflix this Halloween? Check out this list of the scariest classic films created to make you scream your lungs out!

First up is the film that helped Nicole Kidman win a Golden Globe trophy. She managed to portray a single mom for two small children moving into a rural home who eventually gets a hair-raising revelation in the end about their new home in "The Others."

Of course, it won't be Halloween without a mention of the king of horror stories. Stephen King has several books turned into classic horror films and "The Shining" is arguably his most popular creation.

Directed by Stanley Kubrick, the film follows Jack Nicholson's descent into madness in the mysterious Overlook Hotel. However, his downward spiral seemed to be assisted by a malevolent presence in the hotel.

Another one of must-see classic horror movies on Netflix this Halloween is "The Omen." Originally released in 1976, the movie has since been remade. A&E is currently producing a series based on the horror flick, featuring a 30-year-old Damien awakening to his powers and his fate as the Devil's offspring.

"Hellraiser" is another classic horror movie on Netflix that would make your Halloween more exciting. A couple moves into a house previously owned by a family member and accidently bring him back from a Hell-like dimension filled with gruesome creatures called Cenobites. He then uses other men's blood to reconstructs himself.

On a slightly lighter note, Bustle lists "Scream" as a movie that "manages to parody horror films while actually being scary itself." There's nothing like a serial killer story to make the scariest night of the year even more eerie.

On the other hand, MoviePilot lists "Rosemary's Baby" as the best classic horror movie on Netflix that's perfect for a Halloween marathon.

"With its photography, spooky score, and performances, this classic horror from Roman Polanski is still as chilling today as it was when it came out in 1968," the article said. It tells the story of a woman who believes the baby she's carrying is not of this world and she only finds the truth out after giving birth.
